Who We Are

Dwight “Sean” Jones is a seasoned leader with a diverse background in financial management and executive-level business experience. With a successful career at Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. as Vice President of Investments in Beverly Hills, California, Mr. Jones established himself as one of the top equity producers within the company. His extensive knowledge of retirement plans and client management, coupled with his series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, and recognition as a 401k Retirement Specialist, paved the way for his role as Principal at AMAROQ Financial Services LLC (AFS), an organization he founded in 1996.

Beyond his financial career, Mr. Jones boasts a prestigious 13-year professional football career in the National Football League. His remarkable achievements on the field, including 2X-All Pro honors, a Pro-Bowl appearance, and contribution to the 1996 Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers, solidified his reputation as a premier defensive lineman. Off the field, he has received recognition for his contributions to both his team and the community, earning accolades such as the Byron “Wizzer” White Award and the John Mackey award for the league’s top performer at his position.

Mr. Jones’ influence extended to the business side of football. As the youngest NFLPA player representative in league history with the Los Angeles Raiders, he became a spokesperson during the strike of ’87 and played a pivotal role in recommending a 401k plan for players, a recommendation that ultimately became a part of the global settlement with the NFL owners. His commitment to financial advocacy for NFL players led to the founding of the NFLPA finance committee in 1989, where he co-chaired for several years, and represented the NFLPA in meetings involving the Players/Owners Operations Committee.

In 2004, Mr. Jones transitioned to the Oakland Raiders as a Personnel Executive, building a close bond with owner Al Davis and providing valuable consultation on diversity, inclusion, and best practices. His multifaceted background in finance and business, coupled with his influential experience in professional football, uniquely position him as a Principal at a law firm specializing in financial and business management for high-profile clients.
